Nordic Road blends a proprietary mix of raw, bulk, open data sources for report generation. While the exact processing methods are is proprietary, each report will contain a list of used source citations for each report section generated. This gives each user helpful insight into what data is feeding the report creation.
Our tool uses industry leading process to run the analysis and generate the report output. In addition, Nordic Road utilizes trained, professional analysts in the intel space to create prompt templates, identify key areas for analysis, and review the reports for improvements over time.
Most reports are ready within about 15 minutes. This can vary a bit region to region based on the amount of accessible data for the area, how much translation is required, as well as how recently a report for the region has been run. Our system will show you a real-time progress bar so you can track the status, as well as send you an email when your report is ready for review if you prefer not to wait for the product to finish.
The report structure and template was built by Nordic Road’s professional team of analysts. However, the individual reports themselves are built by a combination of AI / LLMs each tasked for specific functions.
Nordic Road believes the dish you serve is only as good as the ingredients you use to make it. As such we use a variety of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) data sources to create the reports. We can pull in news sources from around the world, structured data from tools like CIA World Factbook Data, etc.,, and other targeted and vetted web sources. The exact mixture of sources is proprietary, but Nordic Road has made a considered effort to utilize great data sources in order to make great reports.
Currently, our analysts have created a template structure that is made to fit the vast majority of our customer’s needs. While we know a one-size-fits-all is difficult to accomplish, the goal here is to remove the burden of customers having to create a report template on their own. However, for anything topics or questions that are not addressed directly in a report, for users with permission, we have integrated direct access to our report LLM as a chat feature to round out any knowledge gaps that may occur.
Nordic Road evaluates local information sources through a structured source-vetting process designed to separate signal from noise, VeriArc. We authenticate where information originates, validate claims through corroboration and context, and then weight sources based on credibility factors like media bias, provenance, consistency, track record, proximity to events, and recency. The source are then graded using the same methodology used by US Intelligence Analytical standards. The result is intelligence you can defend—because the “why” behind the output is visible, not hidden.
Weighted confidence is how we show you what’s factual, what’s emerging, and what’s uncertain—without forcing you to guess. Instead of a flat summary, the report reflects the strength of sourcing, corroboration across independent streams, and how recent and consistent the information is. Our team of seasoned US Intelligence Community analysts have ruinously “taught” Nordic Road’s AI model to critically evaluate and authenticate information before its considered for follow on evaluation. The Result – Our clients get decision clarity: which findings are reliable enough to act on now, and which ones should be monitored as they develop.
Runie is the embedded AI analyst that sits on top of vetted reporting and helps you interact with it like an analyst would. It lets you ask questions, compare sources, test interpretations, and turn findings into decision-ready takeaways—quickly. Runie reduces time spent digging and formatting by guiding you to what matters, explaining why it matters, and helping your team move from raw information to actionable intelligence.
Most tools collect and surface content; Nordic Road focuses on identifying trustworthy and usable sources for decisions, at the neighborhood level and beyond. Nordic Road doesn’t discard potentially valuable data sources if deemed unreliable, rather processes and cross references the data through a proprietary weighing system. We don’t just deliver a feed of articles—we apply a disciplined process to authenticate sources, validate claims, and weight credibility, then synthesize the result into clear outputs. The difference is defensibility: you’re not reacting to noise or headlines, you’re operating from validated information with transparent sourcing behind it.
Yes—Nordic Road is designed to be enterprise configured to your specific locations, requirements, risk thresholds, and internal terminology so the output fits how your team actually operates. We can align what gets collected, how it’s scored, and how it’s presented—whether you need briefings, dashboards, or shareable reports across teams. Our analyst and engineering team work side by side with the client to identify your organization’s specific intelligence requirements, then build that into the Nordic Road intelligence engine architecture. The result – a plug and play experience for your organization’s individualized use.
VeriArc is Nordic Road’s source authentication and validation engine—the part of the system that pressure-tests reporting before it becomes “intelligence.” It traces claims back to their origins, evaluates credibility, weighs corroboration, and surfaces confidence signals so your team can see what’s trustworthy and why. VeriArc is a game-changer because it replaces the most time-consuming and failure-prone part of analysis—manual source vetting and cross-checking—with a repeatable, transparent process that scales across regions, languages, and teams.
